The Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:30 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2011, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on September 7, 2011, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Vice-Chairman J. C. Estes called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: Carol Purdy, Kay County Assessor; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary. Chairman Steve Austin was absent.

Motion was made by Carol Purdy and seconded by J. C. Estes approving regular meeting minutes of July 7, 2011. Motion carried: Estes, aye; Purdy, aye.

Carol Purdy presented the Board with a list of clerical errors on the following: Certificate #7455-7461, Osage Drive-In Cleaners, out of business/equipment gone; 7462 & 7463, Alpha Terra, Inc., out of business in 2004-removing all value; 7464-7470, Back on the Rack, out of business in 2004, removing the assessment; 7471-7475, Professional Real Estators, Inc., out of business, removing all value; 7476, Floorcraft, out of business in 2005, removing all value and the assessment; 7477-7481, Furniture Den, out of business-removing the assessment.

Motion was made by Carol Purdy and seconded by J. C. Estes to accept and approve all error and corrections certificates as presented. Motion carried: Estes, aye; Purdy, aye.

There being no other business, motion was made by Estes and seconded by Purdy to adjourn (10:00 a.m.). Motion carried: Estes, aye; Purdy, aye.
