Newkirk, OK 74647

 

The Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:30 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2010, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on January 6, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Chairman Dee Schieber called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows: Floyd Harden, Member; Carol Purdy, Member; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary. 

 

Motion was made by Harden and seconded by Purdy approving minutes from regular session held on December 3, 2009.  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Harden, aye; Purdy, aye. 

 

Carol Purdy presented the Board with a list of clerical errors on the following:  Certificate #7388, American Tower Corp., double assessed & also assessed on Acctount #7100-22-029-04E3-001-00; #7389, Bartlett Discount Center, removing value as business burned May 30, 2008; #7390, Roy L. & Jacklyn E. Pugh, received Veteran status later in 2009, therefore, this is removing all value due to his Veteran’s exemption; #7391, Quarter Turn Resources 3, failed to place on tax rolls due to exempt manufacturing status, this is adding the account to tax rolls.

Motion was made by Harden and seconded by Purdy to accept and approve all error and corrections certificates as presented.    Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Harden, aye; Purdy, aye.

 

There being no other business, motion was made by Harden and seconded by Purdy to adjourn (9:40 a.m.).  Motion carried: Schieber, aye; Harden, aye; Purdy, aye.
