The Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on May 6, 2009, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Vice-Chairman Joe R. Cary called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows: Carol Purdy, Member; Commissioner Dee Schieber; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.  Chairman Austin was absent.

 

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Purdy approving minutes from regular session held on March 5, 2009.  Motion carried:  Cary, aye; Purdy, aye; Schieber, abstained.

 

Carol Purdy presented the Board with a list of clerical errors on the following:  Certificate #7356, It’s in the Basket, out-of-business since 2006, removing assessment; #7358, US BanCorp Equipment Finance Group, frac tanks registered by OTC and assessed, removing their assessed value; #7359, US BanCorp Equipment Finance Group, frac tanks registered by OTC and assessed, removing their assessed value; #7360, Oakwood Acceptance Corp, LLC, mobile home never in Kay County, should not have been assessed, this assessment is being removed; #7361, Oakwood Acceptance Corp, LLC, mobile home never in Kay Co, should not have been assessed, this assessment is being removed

Motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Cary to accept and approve all error and corrections certificates as presented.    Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Cary, aye; Purdy, aye.

 

There being no other business, motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Cary to adjourn (9:09 a.m.).  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Cary, aye; Purdy, aye.
