The Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on March 4, 2009, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Vice-Chairman Joe R. Cary called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows: Carol Purdy, Member; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.  Chairman Austin was absent.

 

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Purdy approving minutes from regular session held on January 8, 2009.  Motion carried:  Cary, aye; Purdy, aye.

 

Carol Purdy presented the Board with a list of clerical errors on the following:  Certificate #7351, Charles Holten, removing assessment double assessed, also on real under Inmon Properties; #7352, Charles Holten, remove this assessment double assessed, also on real under Inmon Properties; #7353, Ledavie Rhodd, property exempt from taxation was assessed, this is removing the assessment; #7354, Ledavie Rhodd, property exempt from taxation was assessed, this is removing the assessment; #7355, Phil & Ruth Woods, mobile home not owned by Phil Woods in 2005, therefore this is removing the assessment for him.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Purdy to accept and approve all error and corrections certificates as presented.    Motion carried:  Cary, aye; Purdy, aye.

 

There being no other business, motion was made by Cary and seconded by Purdy to adjourn (9:15 a.m.).  Motion carried: Cary, aye; Purdy, aye.
