The Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on May 9, 2008, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Chairman Laile Wilson called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows: J. C. Estes, Member; Judy Barnes, Member; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.

 

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Barnes acknowledging minutes from regular session May 8, 2008.  Motion carried:  Barnes, aye; Estes, aye; Wilson, aye.

 

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Barnes approving minutes from regular session held on March 6, 2008.  Motion carried:  Barnes, aye; Estes, aye; Wilson, aye.

 

Judy Barnes presented the Board with a list of clerical errors on the following:  Certificate #7305, Jeff Orcutt Siding and Construction, business closed November 6, 2006, therefore, this is being removed; #7306, Gast Inc., out of business in 2006, therefore, this is removing the value; #7307, Jack’s Warehouse, out of business, therefore, this is removing the assessment; #7308, K & O Quickie #15, out of business, therefore, this is being removed, #7309, The Music Suite, out of business since December 2006, therefore, this is removing the assessment.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Barnes to accept and approve all error and corrections certificates as presented.    Motion carried: Barnes, aye; Estes, aye; Wilson, aye. 

 

There being no other business, motion was made by Barnes and seconded by Estes to adjourn (9:11 a.m.).  Motion carried: Barnes, aye; Estes, aye; Wilson, aye.
