The Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2007, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on July 3, 2007, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Chairman Schieber called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows:  Dee Schieber, Chairman; J. C. Estes, Vice-Chairman; Judy Barnes, Member; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary. 

 

Motion was made by Barnes and seconded by Estes approving minutes from regular session held on May 3, 2007.  Motion carried:  Barnes, aye; Estes, aye; Schieber, aye.

 

Judy Barnes presented the Board with a list of clerical errors on the following:  Certificate #7215, Reighbow Ink 4 Less, out of business since 2005; therefore, this is removing this account; #7216, Adam’s Plumbing, business closed October 2005 per Mr. Adams; therefore, this is removing the assessment.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Barnes to accept and approve all error and corrections certificates as presented.    Motion carried: Barnes, aye; Estes, aye; Schieber, aye;

 

There being no other business, motion was made by Estes and seconded by Barnes to adjourn (9:10 a.m.).  Motion carried: Barnes, aye; Estes, aye; Schieber, aye.
