The Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2007, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on March 7, 2007, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Chairman Schieber called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows:  Dee Schieber, Chairman; Floyd Harden, Vice-Chairman; Judy Barnes, Member; Patsy Leyva, Deputy County Clerk/Secretary.

 

Motion was made by Harden and seconded by Barnes approving minutes from regular sessions held on January 4, 2007.  Motion carried:  Schieber aye; Barnes, aye; Harden, aye.

 

Judy Barnes presented the Board with a list of clerical errors on the following:  Certificate #7210, Don & Bonnie Irons, part of acreage was deeded away from Michael Moore to Irons and should not have been; therefore, this is taking the small acreage and giving it back to Michael & Carol Moore and #7211, Michael Q & Carol J Moore, correction changing name on 18 acre tract back to Moore’s & removing from Irons name; these are adjusting the taxable amount on both.

Motion was made by Harden and seconded by Barnes to accept and approve all error and corrections certificates as presented.    Motion carried: Schieber, aye; Harden, aye; Barnes, aye.

 

There being no other business, motion was made by Harden and seconded by Barnes to adjourn (9:15 a.m.).  Motion carried: Schieber, aye; Harden, aye, Barnes, aye.
