The Board of Tax Roll Corrections of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on March 6, 2006, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Chairman Leven called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows:  Wayne Leven, Chairman; Joe R. Cary, Vice-Chairman; Judy Barnes, Member/Kay County Assessor; Tammy Reese, County Clerk/Secretary.

 

Judy Barnes presented the Board with a list of clerical errors on the following:  Certificate #7124, Taxable Year 2005N T F C Capital Corp.,not in business since 2003; therefore, this is removing the 2005 assessment; Certificate #7125, Taxable Year 2005,Johnny L. Wilson, moved without permit-double assessed (H. Whitfield); therefore, removing this assessment; Certificate #7126, Taxable Year 2004, Michael C. & Patricia Fagg, they moved from County and filed in Osage; therefore, removing the assessment; Certificate #7127, Taxable Year 2005, Michael C. & Patricia Fagg, they moved from County and filed in Osage; therefore, removing the assessment; Certificate #7128, Taxable Year 2004, Troy Willis, didn’t own Lease Land Improvement; therefore, removing assessment; Certificate #7129, Taxable Year 2005, Troy Willis, didn’t own Lease Land Improvement; therefore, this is removing the assessment.
