The Board of County Commissioners of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in special session at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in Commissioners Court located on the First Floor of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on January 10, 2011, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Member Dee Schieber called the special meeting to order (9:15 a.m.). Those present were as follows: Tyson Rowe, Member; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary. Steve Austin, absent, to represent BOCC in Federal Court.

Motion was made by Rowe and seconded by Schieber approving the following Transfer of Appropriations: County Sales Tax Personal Service-$30,000.00 to Overtime. Motion carried: Schieber, aye; Rowe, aye.

Motion was made by Rowe and seconded by Schieber to adjourn (9:19 a.m.). Motion carried: Schieber, aye; Rowe, aye.
