Newkirk, Oklahoma 

 

The Board of County Commissioners of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in regular session at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2005, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on December 2, 2005, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Chairman Wilson called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows:  Wayne Leven, Vice-Chairman; Dee Schieber, Member; Pat Schieber, County Treasurer; Judy Barnes, County Assessor; Rog Allen, KACY Radio; Sharon Rowen, Ponca City News; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary (see sign in sheet).  

 

Motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Leven approving minutes of November 28, 2005.  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Leven, aye; Wilson, aye.

 

Motion was made by Leven and seconded by Schieber to note the following for the Treasurer’s Office:  Treasurer’s Certification Fee Fund-Requisitioning Officer-Pat Schieber/Christy Kennedy/Rhonda Stephens; Receiving Agent-Lisa Jean Epperly/Jennifer Hicks; Inventory Clerk-Lisa Jean Epperly/Jennifer Hicks.  County Treasurer-Requisition Officer-Pat Schieber/Christy Kennedy/Rhonda Stephens; Receiving Agent-Lisa Jean Epperly/Jennifer Hicks; Inventory Clerk-Lisa Jean Epperly/Jennifer Hicks.  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Leven, aye; Wilson, aye.

 

Motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Leven to approve the following Transfer of Appropriations:  Highway Fund-Capital Outlay-$4,000.00 to Personal Service, Dist#1; General Fund-Maintenance-$500.00 to Personal Service, Election Board; Highway Fund-Maintenance-$4,250.00 to Personal Service, Dist#3.  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Leven, aye; Wilson, aye.

 

Motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Leven to approve the following Resolutions:  Highway Cash Fund, Charles T. Shelton-$111.00, Bid#2005-43 Selling Double Doors, Dist#1.  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Leven, aye; Wilson, aye.

 

Motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Leven to approve Payroll Claims.  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Leven, aye; Wilson, aye.
