Special Meeting

The Trustees of the Kay County Home Finance Authority met in special session at 9:05 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, in the Commissioners Court of Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on May 23, 2008, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Chairman Wilson called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows:  Laile Wilson, Chairman; Trustees:  Steve Austin; Dee Schieber; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.

 

Motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Wilson approving special meeting minutes of February 11, 2008.  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Austin, abstained; Wilson, aye.

 

Motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Ennis approving Chairman Wilson to sign letter regarding audit of the financial statements of Kay County Home Finance Authority as of and for the year ending June 30, 2007 prepared by Kimberlye R. Mayer, Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Austin, aye; Wilson, aye.

 

Motion was made by Austin and seconded by Schieber approving proposal from Kimberlye R, Mayer, CPA, P.C. to audit the financial statements of Kay County Home Finance Authority as of and for the year ending June 30, 2008, fee of $925.00 plus an additional charge of $40.00 for the State Auditor’s filing fee.  Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Austin, aye; Wilson, aye.

 

There being no further business, motion was made by Schieber and seconded by Austin to adjourn (9:15 a.m.).   Motion carried:  Schieber, aye; Austin, aye; Wilson, aye.
