How to Determine amount of Documentary Stamps due:
1. Divide sale price by $500.00 (Example: $59,549.00 / 500.00 = $119.10)
2. Round your answer up to the next whole number (Example $120.00)
3. Multiply this answer by 75 cents (Example $120.00 x .75 = $90.00)
*****$90.00 is the amount of documentary stamps needed
