The Kay County Excise Board met in special session at 1:00 o’clock p.m. on February 8, 2010, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted on February 5, 2010, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Chairman Harden called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: Floyd Harden, Chairman; J. C. Estes, Vice-Chairman; Joe R. Cary, Member; Patsy Leyva, Deputy Kay County Clerk/Secretary.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes granting the requests on the following Cash Fund Estimate of Needs and Appropriations: Emergency Management-$12,500.00. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

There being no other business, motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes to adjourn (1:05 p.m.). Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.
