The Kay County Excise Board met in regular session at 10:00 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2009, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted on October 7, 2009, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Chairman Harden called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: Vice-Chairman

J. C. Estes, Joe R. Cary, Member; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes approving regular meeting minutes of September 3, 2009, and special meeting minutes September 8, 2009. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes approving the following Cash Fund Estimate of Needs and Request for Appropriation: Senior Citizen Fund-$319.77, Exhibit A; Utility Upgrade Construction-$109,741.14, Exhibit B. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Cary approving request on Application for Approval of Temporary Appropriations for the FY 2009-2010 for City of Kaw City, General Fund-$150,000/KCMA Fund-$350,000, Exhibit C. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes approving the following Reimbursements to General Fund Account: Resale-$9,524.38, Exhibit D; Resale-$9,524.38, Exhibit E; Unappropriated Court-$4,989.34, Exhibit F; Unappropriated Court-$3,335.43, Exhibit G; Unappropriated Court-$15,644.63, Exhibit H; Tort & Property Insurance-$21,011.72, Exhibit I; Tort & Property Insurance-$14,074.49, Exhibit J; Tort & Property Insurance-$5,789.87, Exhibit K; Election Board-$257.23, Exhibit L. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes acknowledging the following Transfer of Appropriations: Sheriff Maintenance-$2,000.00 to Travel, Exhibit AC. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

There being no other business, Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Cary to adjourn (10:46 a.m.). Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.
