Newkirk, OK 74647

The Kay County Excise Board met in special session at 1:00 o’clock p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2008, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted on October 31, 2008, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Chairman Cary called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: Floyd Harden, Vice-Chairman; J. C. Estes, Member; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.

Motion was made by Harden and seconded by Estes approving the correction to the Sinking Fund on Kildare Public School, C-50 from 5.24 mills to 5.44 mills, Exhibit A. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Harden and seconded by Estes approving the correction to the Sinking Fund on Kaw City Public School, C-84 from 11.50 mills to 0.00 mills, Exhibit B. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Harden approving correction made to 2008 Tax Levies for Kay County (Kildare and Kaw City Public Schools), Exhibit C. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

There being no other business, motion was made by Estes and seconded by Harden to adjourn (1:21 p.m.). Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.
