The Kay County Excise Board met in special session at 1:00 o’clock p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2008, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted on April 18, 2008, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Chairman Estes called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: Chairman J. C. Estes; Vice-Chairman Joe R. Cary; Member Floyd Harden; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.

Motion was made by Harden and seconded by Cary approving the following Cash Fund Estimate of Needs and Request for Appropriation: Highway Dist#1-$138,081.43, White Eagle Project, Exhibit A. Motion carried: Estes, aye; Cary, aye; Harden, aye.

There being no other business, motion was made by Cary and seconded by Harden to adjourn (1:10 p.m.). Motion carried: Estes, aye; Cary, aye; Harden, aye.
