The Kay County Excise Board met in regular session at 10:00 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2007 in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted on June 6, 2007, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Chairman Harden called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: Chairman Harden; Vice-Chairman J. C. Estes; Member Joe R. Cary; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes approving regular meeting minutes of May 3, 2007. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Cary approving on the following Cash Funds - City of Newkirk Municipality: Senior Citizen Building Fund-$10,000.00, Exhibit A; Senior Citizen Van Fund-$522.50, Exhbit B; Park & Recreation Cash Fund-$1,056.32, Exhibit C. Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes approving Application for Temporary Appropriations for Kildare District No. C-50 - General Fund-$698,519.44; Building Fund-$43,000.00; Child Nutrition Fund-$63,000.00, Exhibit D. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes approving Application for Temporary Appropriations for Kaw City District No. C-84 – General Fund-$455,798.48; Building Fund-$6,166.13, Exhibit E. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Cary approving Braman ISD #18 – General Fund (90%)-$855,679.00; Building Fund (90%)-$38,644.00; Child Nutrition Fund (90%)-$46,862.00, Exhibit F. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes approving Newkirk District No. I029 – General Fund-$4,446,325.12; Building Fund-$95,129.27; Child Nutrition Fund-$251,056.74, Exhibit G. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Cary approving (with noted changes) Tonkawa ISD #87 – General Fund-corrected $4,702,176.00; Building Fund-$470,015.00; Child Nutrition Fund-corrected $303,494.00; and noting Building Bond Fund-$640,000.00, Exhibit H. Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes approving Cash Fund Estimate of Needs and Request for Appropriation for the Bond Fund 37 Cash Fund of Ponca City Public Schools 2006-2007 Interest-$5,195.39, Exhibit I. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.
