The Kay County Excise Board met in special session at 10:00 o’clock a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted on January 12, 2007, at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Chairman Harden called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: Floyd Harden, Chairman; J. C. Estes, Member; Joe R. Cary, Member; Tammy Reese, County Clerk/Secretary.

Motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes to approve the following Reimbursements to General Account: Workers’ Comp-$14,298.00, Exhibit A; District Court-$1,188.00, Exhibit B. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Cary approving the following Cash Fund Estimate of Needs and Request for Appropriation: Treasurer’s Mortgage Certification-$840.00, Exhibit C; Open Dump Reward-$92.62, Exhibit D; Public Buildings Authority/Health-$7,068.65, Exhibit E; Highway, Dist#1-$15,007.07, Exhibit F; Highway, Dist#2-$76,104.39, Exhibit G; Highway, Dist#2-$17,540.41, Exhibit H (pending receipt); Highway, Dist#3-$98,016.60, Exhibit I. Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

There being no other business for the Special Excise Board Meeting, motion was made by Cary and seconded by Estes to adjourn (10:29 a.m.). Motion carried: Cary, aye; Estes, aye; Harden, aye.
