The Kay County Excise Board met in special session at 1:30 o’clock p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2006 in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted on August 10, 2006 at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Chairman Harden called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: J. C. Estes, Vice-Chairman; Tammy Reese, County Clerk/Secretary. Member Joe R. Cary was absent.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Harden to grant request on the following Cash Fund Estimate of Needs and Request for Appropriation: Highway Cash Fund-Dist#1, BIA-$241,224.31 (Lake Road Project), Exhibit A. Motion carried: Estes, aye; Harden, aye.

Motion was made by Estes and seconded by Harden to adjourn (2:07 p.m.). Motion carried: Estes, aye; Harden, aye.
