Kay County Equalization Board met in special session on
Chairman
Cary called the meeting to order. Those
present were as follows: Floyd Harden, Vice-Chairman;
J. C. Estes, Member; Ron Colbert, Kay County Assessor Office; Tammy Reese, Secretary/Kay
County Clerk (see sign-in sheet).
Motion
was made by Estes and seconded by Harden approving special meeting minutes of

Appeals to the Board were heard from the following: Ms. Lou Ann Myrick; Mr. & Mrs. Donus Parker; Mr. & Mrs. Doug
Brown; Savage & Browning, Tom Savage; Property Valuation Services, Mr. Mark
Hoban.
The
Board told each person they would consider their situations and possibly view
each site before making a decision.
Ron
Colberg, Kay County Assessor’s Office, explained how valuations were
determined.
