The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) of Kay County, Oklahoma, met in special session at 8:30 o’clock a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017, in the Commissioners Courtroom on the 1st Floor of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Notice of the special meeting was posted for public information on December 19, 2017, at 4:20 p.m. at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

 

Chairman Paul Skidmore called the meeting to order.  Those present were as follows: Jack Godberson, Member; Brian Hermanson, District Attorney; Gary Tucker, Secretary/Deputy Kay County Clerk.   Absent:  Jason Shanks, Member.

 

Motion was made by Skidmore and seconded by Godberson adopting and approving a Certificate as to the status of the Thunder Ranch Wind Project in relation to the BOCC.  DA Hermanson asked Skidmore if he approved and accepted all the language that was presented on the Certificate and Skidmore said he did.   Motion carried:  Godberson, aye; Skidmore, aye.

 

There being no other business, motion was made by Skidmore and seconded by Godberson to adjourn, 8:32 a.m.  Motion carried:  Godberson, aye; Skidmore, aye.
