NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE TRUSTEES

OF THE KAY COUNTY JUSTICE FACILITIES AUTHORITY

Pursuant to the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act (Title 25 O.S. 2001, Section 301-314), notice is hereby given that the Trustees of the Kay County Facilities Authority will hold a regular meeting as follows:

AGENDA

 

  1. Call the meeting to order.
  2. Roll Call.
  3. Approve/disapprove the minutes of the previous meeting.
  4. Consideration, discussion and possible action on presentation by Paul Bettis, Oklahoma Baptist General Convention in Oklahoma City, regarding ministry in the new facility.
  5. Presentation and discussion with accountant regarding financial matters and reports.
  6. Consideration and discussion on status of operations, expenses and uses of existing jail facility.
  7. Presentations by Don Jones and/or Stan Lewis/Matt Groves, Architects in Partnership (AIP), regarding site plans, design, construction, utilities, costs and utilization of new jail facility.  Discussion related to Don Jones/Stan Lewis presentation of new jail facility.
  8. Report and discussion from committee regarding the Court Rooms and communications network in the new jail.
  9. Consideration, discussion and possible action on proposal for new jail telephone equipment provider.
  10. Consideration, discussion and possible action on proposal for new jail inmate telephone service provider.
  11. Construction progress report from Sedalco Construction Services.
  12. Consideration, discussion and possible action on Bill of Sale Agreement with Newkirk Municipal Authority for conveyance and payment for replacement transformer.
  13. Discussion and possible action regarding search for new Jail Administrator.
  14. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding pay increase for jailer.
  15. Consideration, discussion and possible action on the following Requisitions submitted for payment:
    1. David Cummings, Attorney fees and advance expenses for February, 2010, in the amount of $3,197.14
    2. Don Jones, Consulting fees for February 2010-$2,300.00
    3. Baskin Stevens & Freeland, P.C., accounting fees for February 2010, in the amount of $2,013.00
    4. Sedalco Construction Services, fees and expenses, Application No. 10, Project No. 0720, in the amount of $844,639.47
    5. City of Newkirk-$2,453.74, utility bill for electric and power adjustment
  16. Unscheduled public appearances.
