The Kay County E911 Authority scheduled a regular session at
Chairman Steve Austin called the meeting to order. Those present were as follows: Members Steve
Austin, Laile Wilson; Sherry Bowers (
Motion was made by Jerry Johnston and seconded by Laile
Wilson approving regular meeting minutes of
Motion was made by Jerry Johnston and seconded by Jerry Evans to re-elect the current officers as Steve Austin as Chairman and Harold Harris as Vice-Chairman. Motion carried.
Chairman Austin opened a discussion on appointments of
Municipal Officials and designees. Steve

PSAP Collection Reports: Scott Dark, Tonkawa had revenues for May ($6902.68), June ($1926.34), and July ($6867.30).
Sherry Bowers,
Tim Davidson, Blackwell reported revenues for 08/09 FY for wireless at$38,971.56, wired $48,236.70 and expensed at 1,567 per month not counting personnel.
Community Updates: Scott Dark, Tonkawa stated that Tonkawa is now compliant and ready for testing (ready to send letter to proper authority).
Tim Davidson, Blackwell stated that they had turned in a grant application for Phase II system. The system they are looking at can pinpoint a location to within 100ft (the grant application said Feds are to review and respond within 60 days).
There was no New Business brought before the Board.
