The Kay County E911 Authority, met in special session at 9:00 o’clock a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, in the Commissioners Court of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Notice of the meeting was posted for public information on March 6, 2006 at the Courthouse front door, Commissioners Court, and basement handicapped entrance of the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Chairman Bowers, called the meeting to order. Members of the authority present are as follows: Chairman Sherry Bowers, City of Ponca City; Wayne Leven, Vice-Chairman; Harold Harris, City of Newkirk; Laile Wilson, Commissioner; Marleda Humble, City of Blackwell; Larry Bittman, Ponca City PSAP; Kirk Henderson, City of Tonkawa; Jerry Evans, Newkirk Fire Chief; Susan Keen; Pat Schieber, Kay County Treasurer; Tammy Reese, Kay County Clerk/Secretary.

Motion was made by Bittman and seconded by Harris approving request from NODA for Division of collected 911 wireless funds (10%-Tonkawa, 20%-Blackwell, 70%-Ponca City). Motion carried: Bowers, aye; Leven, aye; Wilson, aye; Harris, aye; Humble, aye; Henderson, aye; Bittman, aye.

The Board held an informal discussion concerning issues relating to E911.

There being no further business, motion was made by Leven and seconded by Wilson to adjourn. Motion carried: Bowers, aye; Leven, aye; Wilson, aye; Harris, aye; Humble, aye; Henderson, aye; Bittman, aye.
